we have a lot of prototypes to cut out and pack for the following week due to some clients asking for presentations before Christmas and New Year's, so the team is spending most of the time preparing for that. I got some prototypes for my escape booklet ready, printing out a total of nine copies for people to bring home and get their family to test, i also gave them the following forum to fill out once they had finished with the booklet:
It translates to:
Nature Escape Polar Adventures
How did it feel to play the game?
What was your favourite moment or interaction?
What was your least favourite moment or interaction?
When did you feel the most intelligent?
Is there anything you wanted to do that the game didn't allow you to do?
If you had a magic wand and could change any aspect of the game, what would you do?
On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the worst game you've ever played and 10 being the best game you've ever played, how would you rate your experience of the game?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the variety of games in the booklet?
Hopefully, the questions are broad enough that the players don't feel as if they need to get the questions "right" and they are diverse enough that I get a broad but straight-to-the-point set of answers.
Today I helped with the prototype making, then after cutting out prototypes at the end of the day I held a playtest for one of our other projects, "la gamme protect" which had a few issues with the rules, but otherwise, they had a lot of fun.
Today I wrote up a report for yesterday's playtest and emailed it to Honorine who is in charge of this project.
Then I refined some details on my Escape booklet, notably the final boss. Before it was very clunky and required extra text to explain to the player what they must do, so I got rid of the messy details and made it more visually telling and straightforward.
Before

Today I'm having a meeting with the le savais tu of my booklet, these are facts about the animals that are not mentioned on the actual cards, we need to prepare a little guideline on what we would like mentioned to enrich the player's knowledge, but also provide context to elements in our story, for example, the polar fox tends to jump into the air and dive into the snow, this is shown in the book's illustrations, but not on text in the card, so the le savais tu will probably mention this and explain it further.

for the rest of the day, I'm going to focus on the catacombs project, hoping to get a fun prototype by tomorrow
Today I got some prototype ideas going for the catacombs project. but unfortunately, I lacked the resources and people to do a full playtest since the holidays were so close.
