This week we got the first assets and art pieces. although none are in the game we have the player models and buildings to show!!! we also have some slick new UI to show off in the game!
We got a lot done in the last 2 weeks of work, for example, we got the final build of V1. This is the submitted (but not final) version of the game. Where the game is playable from start to finish with the core mechanics and features.
Justin was hard at work making sure that all the models were textured, as well as creating the sound effects for the game. Dennis was polishing up the UI and making sure that it looked good. Erik was compiling stories for the game, and Darragh was finding shaders and a map of Dublin for the look and level of the game. I mainly focused on the programming and design of the game, programming many aspects of the final game and making sure it all fit together while trying to fit everyone's work into the game.
