These past few weeks have been busy, I've been reworking the mechanics, the design, and some of the art. And on the 25th I have a playtest with some first-year game designers, so I need to get everything printed and a new prototype ready.
I have decided to take a couple of Skillshare classes on vector illustration, specifically ones by Kyle Aaron Parson. These classes have really helped me build confidence in my art skills, as I don't consider myself much of a visual artist. With the help of his classes, I've been able to prototype some icons for the game's iconography:

(I can leave only one hand to indicate a specific direction to move.)Time token

Van damage icon
What is important to note with these icons is that they are only the first drafts, I want to change them and improve them as my skills expand.
Also, it's very important that they all have distinct colouring and silhouettes, that way they are recognizable at a glance, and they will blend in with the gameplay rather than be a hindrance.
I want to also implement different movement mechanics, notably the metro system, into the game, for that I'll have to make a new map with different metro tunnels. which you can see below!
